Christ's Gracious Call

Text: Matt. 11:28-30

²⁸Come unto all me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ²⁹Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. ³⁰For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Our Saviour has invited all that labour and are heavy-laden, to come unto him. Christ invites all to come to him for rest to their souls. He alone gives this invitation; men come to him, when, feeling their guilt and misery, and believing his love and power to help, they seek him in fervent prayer. All who thus come directly to Jesus will receive rest as Christ’s gift, and obtain peace and comfort inn their hearts. This passage of the scriptures teaches that we can only find help and comfort in Christ Jesus and no other person. But in coming to Him they must take his yoke, and submit to his authority. They must learn of Him all things, as to their comfort and obedience. No need we fair His yoke. His commandments are holy, just and good. It requires self-denial, and exposes to difficulties, but this is abundantly repaid, even in this world, by inward peace and joy. It is a yoke that is lined with love.

Let us come to Him daily, for deliverance from wrath and guilt, from sin and satan, from all our cares, fears, and sorrows. But forced obedience, far from being easy and light, is a heavy burden. In vain do we draw near to Jesus with our lips, while the heart is far from Him. Then come to Jesus with faith and full submission to find rest. 

Ye are more Value than many Sparrows

Text: Matt. 10:29-31 (KJV)  Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

In this passage, Jesus reminded his disciples of God’s loving care and His grace. God is the creator and sustainer of nature. Jesus reminded his disciples that if God the Father take good care of the sparrows how much more His people that is more than the sparrows. That is why we have no reason to worry and be fearful because God will take good care on us, as long as we are doing His will and putting our faith to Him. 

Why are ye Fearful, O ye of little faith?

Text: Matt. 8:23-27

In v. 18-22 Jesus Christ taught his disciples that if you will him you will not expect an easy life, V. 20 “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head”.

If you follow the will of God in your life many people could not understand you and the devil will use those people around you to criticize and discourage you in following Christ. Maybe satan will use your friend to mock you or maybe your unsaved loved ones or parents will be mad at you.

But, always remember that as long as you are in Christ and Christ in you there will be no trials or temptations that can not be calmed. How big or great the waves of trials that will come into your life don’t be troubled because Christ is not troubled because Christ is above all and is able to give us peace in times of trials and temptations. Let us have faith in him. Don’t Be  Fearful, Have Faith in God.    

The Wise Builder

Text: Matt. 7:24-29

7:24-27. Christ ended his sermon with a concluding illustration of the two foundations, and He begins with the word therefore. On the basis of all that He has taught and illustrated, He concluded that all who both hear and do His sayings shall be saved, and have real peace and joyful life because only Jesus can give us salvation, peace and joy. As a great Master Counselor, Jesus reminded His listener that hearing this message alone will not change his life. He must both hear and do what Jesus has said. The elements of the closing illustration are drawn from the simplicity of nature itself, the rock, the rain, and the winds. The man whose house collapsed was at fault, not because he failed to labor, but because he did not lay the proper foundation. The shifting sand represents human opinion and the doctrines of men as opposed to “these sayings”.

7:28. The entire Sermon on the Mount is addressed to believers and presupposes faith in Jesus as Messiah. The works done by the believer are not based on himself but on the “rock”(v.24), who ultimately is Christ Himself(1 Cor. 10:4). He is the personal embodiment of all His teachings. Thus, when He finished the discourse, the people were astonished. Amazement engulf the audience.

Therefore, let us all put our trust in God. God’s ways is far better than all our ways, God’s thought is far better than our thought. God knows what is best for us, so it better to commit all things to Him and follow His will in our life. But if you are not yet saved, the first thing you are going is to secure first your salvation by repenting on your sins and receive Christ as your personal savior. 

A Letter from Hell

My Dear Christian friends we have a great responsibility to our loved ones and friends who are not yet saved. Who had not yet repented their sins and received Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior. Friend our time is short and death may come any time, don't waste your time share Jesus to the people around you let them receive the gift of God (Eternal Life through Jesus Christ).

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock

by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about

them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you

good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city

of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

Luke 2:8-11

There is no need to fear what happens in life because our salvation has been bought by Jesus Christ.

Benjamin Harrison was the twenty-third President of the United States of America. A distinguished

Brigadier General during the Civil War, Harrison knew how to lead those under him. It was during

Harrison's presidency that the invention of electricity became popular. Light bulbs were being

tested in homes, and at first, only the elite could afford the costly convenience. For a trial,

light bulbs were installed in the White House and electricity was wired throughout the house. But

Harrison, a prestigious man, didn't care for the new invention. In fact, he was so afraid of

touching the switch, that if one of his servants or advisors weren't around when he and his wife

went to bed, they would sleep with the lights on.

Many people entertain irrational fears. While the fears seem real to them and they would defend

their fears, looking back after time has gone by, they can see there was no need to fear after all.

The same can be said in the Christian life. We all face fearful times, but after enduring them with

God's strength, we can see how God was working in it all.

The angels of Heaven appeared to the shepherds in the middle of the night to announce the birth of

Christ. While a host of angels filling the sky would probably frighten anyone, notice the angel's

response to the shepherd's fear, "Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,

which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is

Christ the Lord."

There is no need to fear what happens in life because our salvation has been bought by Jesus Christ.

While some people may fear the future, we can live in peace, knowing that God has a secure hold on

our lives both right now and for all eternity.

If you don't have that peace that God is in control of your life, think back on your life. Was there

a time when realized that you were a sinner (that you have done wrong in life), that you couldn't

save yourself on your own, that Christ died in your place on the Cross, and that He alone is the way

to eternal salvation? If not, I ask you to please take time right now to follow this link and read

the Bible verses laid out. The most important decision you could make today would be to trust Christ

as your Saviour. Don't allow a fear of the future to grip your life; allow God to fill your heart

with peace.

If you have been saved, rejoice in knowing that God securely holds your future! No situation,

circumstance, problem, mistake, or accident can take away your eternal security. Thank God that He

sent His Son so you can have peace in knowing He is in control.
